Captains Bio: Captain Mark Wilson is a native Floridian and former Cape Canaveral Charter Captain from 2000-2005. From 1997 through 2000 he was a part time captain of the Mad Dog VI, a 105’ commercial vessel running excursions from Key West to the Dry Tortugas. Capt Mark currently holds a USCG 100-Ton P/V Merchant Marine License, also an Ambassador to Pure Fishing Inc, a sponsored field test engineer for Lowrance Marine Electronics and on the pro staff for Berkley, SeaDek, Crowder Rods. Capt Mark has held tournament director positions for a myriad of clubs and benefits including the 34th Annual FSFA Offshore Slam, the largest single day tournament payout in East Coast Central Florida. In 2003 Capt Mark was awarded US Southeast Top Charter Boat for most Dolphin Releases aboard the vessel Docked Wages by Don Hammond of the South Carolina Dolphin Tagging Research Project. Vessel Deliveries and Captain For Hire Excursions: Capt Mark is available for hire for vessel deliveries, private excursions or instructional charters on your vessel. Vessel deliveries have included long range transfers from the Great Lakes down the Mississippi river across the Gulf of Mexico to the East Coast of Florida. Various local transfers included East Coast Atlantic deliveries of vessels in the 30' - 55' range, departures to safe harbour during hurricane evacuations, crossings on Lake Okeechobee and to the Bahamian Islands.
